In Hogan’s Memory
In 2010 our son, Hogan, was born with Trisomy 18. He was only with us for sixteen days but his presence changed our lives forever. We believe we were chosen to bring this special little boy into the world so his memory could help others. RememberTheOne.org was inspired by Hogan’s life.
Our tagline “remembering the ones” refers to the statistical numbers we were given during our pregnancy journey – numbers like 1 in 150 or 1 in 5000. We didn’t think about the “ones” until Hogan was diagnosed with Trisomy 18. Hogan was a “one”. We want to make remembering the “ones” easier by providing families, friends and supporters a way to easily communicate with others who are fighting a similar battle.
The Mission of Remember The One
Remembertheone.org is a non-profit Internet based site created in the spirit to help any ONE during their personal journey that may be related to health, spiritual, or life issues. We give these “ones” the resources to connect, update, and share their journey. No “one” is ever alone.
